Chittagong, September 05:- Inter-Base Football Competition-2019 of Bangladesh Air Force concluded at Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque, Chittagong on Thursday (05-09-2019).
Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman team became champion while Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team became runner-up. They defeated BAF Base Zahurul Haque team by 3-1 goals in tie breaker as the schedule and extra time of the match was 2 – 2 goals draw.
Sergeant Aminul of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur team was adjudged the best player of the meet scoring 11 goals in the tournament.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plan) Air Vice Marshal Ehsanul Gani Choudhury, OSP, GUP, ndu, psc witnessed the final match and distributed prizes among the winners as Chief Guest. Earlier, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Zahurul Haque Air Commodore Mohd Kamrul Islam, GUP, nswc, afwc, psc inaugurated the competition on 01 September 2019.
Among others Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF Officers, Airmen and other members of the Base were present on the occasion.
