Dhaka, 04 May 2024: International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information & Communication Technology (ICEEICT 2024) was held at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) from 02 May – 04 May 2024. In this conference researchers and professionals from both academia and industry from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, China, United Arab Amirates and India along with Bangladesh had participated for sharing up-to-date knowledge and experience in the fields of Electrical and communication engineering.
The conference had focused on recent researches, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, computer network and security, communications, digital signal and image processing, optoelectronics and photonics, power electronics and drives, power system and renewable energy, semiconductor device and nano-technology, software engineering, VLSI and circuits, microwave engineering, radar engineering, satellite navigation etc. It is expected that this conference will eventually build a forum of researchers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and students from all over the world which will open a door to innovations and sustainable developments in Electrical, Electronics Engineering and ICT which will have a significant impact on shaping Digital Bangladesh.
General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP (BAR), OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, Honorable Chief of Army Staff has graced the inauguration ceremony as Chief Guest. The closing ceremony of the conference was held at MIST Auditorium on 04 May 2024. Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology has graced the closing ceremony as chief guest.
