Dhaka, 05 May: – The Command Safety Seminar-2025 of Bangladesh Air Force has been held at Falcon Hall, BAF Base Bashar, Tejgaon on Monday (05-5-2025). In the seminar, flying achievement and all flight related occurrences of the year 2024 were analysed and presented to the participants.
Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc graced the seminar as Chairman and distributed Flight Safety Trophies. In his address, he praised Almighty Allah for his blessings and commended all personnel for their hard work and professionalism which led to achieving 23,026 hours that are crucial for success and safety of BAF operations. He appreciated the objective of the seminar, noting that it provided a valuable platform for professionals to share experience, enhance cooperation and a support effort to promote flight safety. He urged upon all aircrew, technicians, controllers to be more vigilant while enhancing close supervision and strictly following the rules and regulations. At the end, he reaffirmed that BAF is committed and always ready to defend our motherland at all times all means.
Notable that, in 2024, BAF have carried out UN mission rotation flight, ferry flight to UK and Check Republic, Training Support like Rappelling & Fast Roping, Para trooping, Medevac to Bangladesh Army & Bangladesh Navy, different VVIP Flights, reconnaissance and Relief & Rescue mission for Feni Flood Victims 2024.
Finally, Bangladesh Air Force Base Cox’s Bazar was awarded “Inter-Base Flight Safety Trophy” and 5 Squadron Bangladesh Air Force was awarded “Inter-Squadron Khademul Bashar Flight Safety Trophy” for achieving the highest safe flying hours in the year 2024. Moreover Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque Aircraft Engineering Squadron was awarded “Best Aircraft Engineering Squadron Trophy”. Senior BAF officials and Airmen attended the seminar.
