Dhaka, 29 November:- The Certificate Award Ceremony of No. 109 Junior Command and Staff Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Bangladesh Air Force Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Bashar on Thursday (29-11-2018). Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, BBP, OSP, ndc, acsc, psc attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates and trophy among the graduating officers.
16 officers from Bangladesh Air Force, 02 officers from Royal Saudi Air Force, 01 officer each from Indian Air Force, Sri Lankan Air Force and United States of American Air Force attended the course. Squadron Leader Parshant Kumar of Indian Air Force was awarded with the “Chief of Air Staff’s Certificate and Trophy” for his best performance in the course. While addressing, the chief guest has emphasized on applied knowledge for the graduating student officers and he thanked the government of participating country for sending student officers in this course.
Earlier, the Officer Commanding of the institute, in his welcome speech, gave a brief resume on the training and academic curriculum of the course. Among others, senior BAF Officers and diplomats were also present on the occasion.
