Dhaka, 10 October 2024 : – The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Hockey Competition-2024 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Hockey ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Kurmitola, Dhaka on Thursday (10-10-2024).
Bangladesh Air Force Base Kurmitola team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team by 1-0 goal in the final match. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad, BPP, ndu, aowc, psc, witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest, distributed prizes among the Champion and Runner-Up team.
Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Kurmitola Air Comodore Md Mostafa Mahmood Siddiq, GUP, ndc, afwc, acsc, psc inaugurated the competition on 06 October 2024. Mentionable that 06 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 05 day long competition.
