Dhaka, November 19:- Inter Base Athletics Competition-2020 of Bangladesh Air Force concluded at BAF Base Bangabandhu sports ground at Kurmitola, Dhaka Canttonment on Thursday (19-11-2020).
Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc witnessed the final day’s events as Chief Guest and distributed medals and trophies among the winners.
07 teams of Bangladesh Air Force took part in the competition. Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman team won the title with 11 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze medals while Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu team became runner up with 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, BAF Base Zahurul Haque team became over all champion based on results of different competition held in 2019-2020.
Officer Cadet M Fahim Parves of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman team was adjudged the best athlete in the competition.
Among others, senior BAF officers, Airmen, MODC and other members were present on the occasion
