Jashore, October 17:- Inter-Base Basketball Competition of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) concluded here at the playground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Sreshto Matiur Rahman, Thursday (17-10-2019).
In the competition, Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team clinched the title while Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu team became runner-up. They defeated Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu team by 65-36 points in the final match. LAC Rakib of the Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque was adjudged the best player of the competition.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, BBP, OSP, ndc, acsc, psc witnessed the final match as Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Mentionable that 06 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 05 days long competition. Among others Senior Officers, Airmen and other members of local Base wer present on the occasion.
