Dhaka, May 12:- A C-130J transport aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force returned to BAF Base Bangabandhu, Kurmitola, Dhaka from China on Wednesday (12-05-2021) morning with 5 Lac dozes of SINOPHRAM vaccine and AD syringes to prevent coronavirus.
In compliance with the policies published by the Government of Bangladesh, Armed Forces is conducting various activities under the direction of Honourable Prime Minister to prevent coronavirus. In line with this, the goodwill mission was conducted by a C-130J transport aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force to bring 5 lac dozes of SINOPHRAM vaccine and AD syringes provided by China to prevent coronavirus as a sign of China’s friendly relations with Bangladesh. The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has expressed thankful gratitude to the Government of the People’s Republic of China for commendable efforts in combating coronavirus and for unwavering support to the various countries of the World including Bangladesh to prevent global outbreaks. Mentionable that a total 13 Aircrew of Bangladesh Air Force departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka for China on Tuesday (11-05-2021) by BAF C-130J aircraft to transport coronavirus vaccine from China. Wing Commander Md Habibur Rahman, GD(P) of Bangladesh Air Force led the goodwill mission.
On arrival of BAF aircraft at Kurmitola Air movement Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc welcomed the aircrew including mission leader.
