Dhaka, 27 November 2019 :- The Certificate Award Ceremony of No 112 Junior Command and Staff Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at BAF Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Bashar on Wednesday (27-11-2019). Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations), Bangladesh Air Force, Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, BBP, OSP, ndc, acsc, psc attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates and trophy among the graduating officers.
19 officers from Bangladesh Air Force, one officer each from Indian Air Force, Nigeria Air Force, Sri Lanka Air Force and United States of American Air Force attended the course. Squadron Leader Md. Ehteshamul Haque GD(P) of Bangladesh Air Force was awarded with the “Chief of Air Staff’s Certificate and Trophy” for his best performance in the course.
While addressing, the chief guest has emphasized on applied knowledge for the graduating student officers and he thanked the government of India, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and United States of America for sending officers in this course. Earlier, in his welcome address, the Officer Commanding of the institute Group Captain Muhammad Mushtaqur Rahman, BPP, afwc, psc gave a brief resume on the Training and academic curriculum of the course.
Among others, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar, diplomats from India, Sri Lanka and senior BAF Officers were present in the ceremony.
