Dhaka, 21 March:- The certificate award ceremony of No 62 Flying Instructors’ Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Flying Instructors’ School (FIS), Arulia Air Field, Bogura on 21 March 2023, Tuesday. Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates among the course participants.
In his speech, the Chief Guest mentioned that now the student officers are the part of glorious team of Flying Instructors who will enable them to train the ab initio pilots to defend the sky of our beloved motherland. It is to be mentioned that, 15 officers from Bangladesh Air Force received the certificates on successful completion of Flying Instructors’ Course. Squadron Leader A K M Shamsul Huda, GD(P) of no 62 Flying Instructors’ Course was adjudged as the best all round student officer and awarded with the prestigious ‘Mofiz Trophy’. Officer Commanding of Flying Instructors’ School (FIS) Group Captain Md Mahbub Ur Rahman, acsc, psc gave a brief resume on the course conducted by the school.
Among others, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans) Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Maintenance) Air Vice Marshal Md Zahidul Sayeed, BUP, ndc, psc, Air Officer Commmanding of BAF Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman Air Commodore Syed Sayeedur Rahman, BUP, ndc, afwc, psc including senior officers of Bangladesh Armed Forces and local Govt. high officials were also present on the occasion.
