Dhaka. 29 November 2023, Tuesday.: In a grand ceremony held at the Banquet Hall, Army Multipurpose Complex, Dhaka Cantonment, the National Defence College marked the culmination of the National Defence Course 2023 and Armed Forces War Course 2023 with a prestigious Graduation Dinner on 28th November 2023.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Kamrul Islam, BBP, BSP, GUP, nswc, afwc, psc, GD(P), Acting Commandant of the College.
The Chief Guest extended his heartfelt felicitations to all the course members of the National Defence Course 2023 and Armed Forces War Course 2023 for their successful completion of these prestigious courses. He took a moment to express gratitude to the dedicated faculty members and staffs of the college, whose relentless commitment, dedication and whole-hearted support significantly contributed to the success of these courses.
In a special note of appreciation, the Chief Guest highlighted the pivotal role played by the Hon’ble Prime Minister to raise this institution and continuous guidance and support to develop National Defence College to be a premier institute in Bangladesh.
This year, 85 course members, including 43 from the Bangladesh Armed Forces, 13 from Civil Services, and 29 from 17 friendly countries participated in National Defence Course 2023. Simultaneously, the Armed Forces War Course 2023 marked the successful graduation of 56 esteemed course members hailing from the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force.
