Dhaka, June 07:- Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, who is infected with coronavirus, was emergency transferred from Bandarban to Dhaka CMH in on Sunday (07-06-2020) by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.
Bangladesh Air Force has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission. Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, was emergency flown to Bandarban Cantonment Helipad to Dhaka for better treatment by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force due to Coronavirus positive. At the same time, Hon’ble Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP’s son Robin Bahadur and his Private Assistant (PA) Mr. Akash Chaudhary were also flown to Dhaka by the same helicopter. Later, he was taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka for better treatment.
