Dhaka, December 15:- A 66 member delegation of Indian Armed Forces including 30 War Veterans who participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971 called on Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc at BAF Shaheen Hall on Wednesday (15-12-2021). The visiting team was led by Major General (retd) R N Bhalla, UYSM, VSM.
During call on, the visiting team exchanged greetings and shared their views. Chief of Air Staff commemorated the contribution of Indian Armed Forces during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971 with gratitude. Principal Staff Officers of Air Headquarters and other senior BAF officers were also present at the gathering. Mentionable that, a 66 member delegation team arrived in Bangladesh on 13 December 2021 for an official visit on an invitation from Bangladesh Government. During this visit, they will participate in different official ceremony related to celebration of the Victory Day-2021. It is expected that, the visit will further enhance the existing warm relationship between the countries.
