Dhaka, 14 September :- The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Basketball Competition-2023 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu, Dhaka on 14 September 2023, Thursday.
Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu by 34-29 points in the said competition. LAC Tahsin of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu team and LAC Santo of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu team were adjudged as the best player and rising player respectively. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Administration) Air Vice Marshal Md Zahidur Rahman, BBP, BSP, GUP, nswc, psc witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest, distributed prizes among the Champion and Runner-Up team.
Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bangabandhu Air Vice Marshal M A Awal Hossain, BBP, OSP, GUP, ndc, awc, psc inaugurated the competition on 10 September 2023. Mentionable that 07 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 05 day long competition.
