Dhaka, 15 November 2018 :- Inter Service Basketball Competition-2018 concluded at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu Basketball Court on Thursday, 15-11-18. Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Materiel) Rear Admiral M Shafiul Azam, NUP, ndc, psc witnessed the final match and distributed prizes as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Navy team became champion and Bangladesh Army team became runner-up. Bangladesh Navy team defeated Bangladesh Army team by 69-53 points in the final match. Chief Petty Officer Shamsuzzaman of Bangladesh Navy team was adjudged the best player of the competition.
Earliar, the competition was inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu Air Vice Marshal M Sayed Hossain, BSP, GUP, ndc, psc on 11 November 2018. Among others, officers of three services and other members were present on the occasion.
