Shamshernagar (Moulvibazar), November 25:- The passing out parade of Recruits’ Entry No-46 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at the Recruits’ Training School (RTS) in Shamshernagar, Moulvibazar on Sunday (25-11-2018).
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salute as the Chief Guest. Later, he distributed trophies among the outstanding recruits.
In his speech, Chief of Air Staff advised the recruits to work with honesty, integrity, sincerity and establish themselves as exemplary airmen of Bangladesh Air force. He hoped that they will be able to make strong contribution in safeguarding the airspace of Bangladesh through displaying patriotism.
A total of 607 recruits have been passed out today through this parade. Among them, AC-2 Shanto Majumdar and AC-2 Md. Sobuj Alom were adjudged as the best recruit in Academics and General Service Training respectively. AC-2 Md. Abu Al Morsalin Shanto was adjudged as the best recruit for all round performance.
Earlier, today Chief of Air Staff was usherd to the parade ground by Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal M Shafiqul Alam, OSP, BSP, ndc, fawc, psc and Officer Commanding of Recruits’ Training School Group Captain Abu Zahid Mohsin, afwc, psc.
Senior officers of Bangladesh Air Force and both civil and military dignatories of the local area as well as guardians of the recruits were also present in the ceremony.
