RECRUITS’ PASSING OUT PARADE OF BANGLADESH AIR FORCE HELD FOR THE FIRST TIME 64 FEMALE RECRUITS INDUCTED

Shamshernagar (Moulvibazar), November 25:- The passing out parade of Recruits’ Entry No-48 of Bangladesh Air Force held at the Recruits’ Training School (RTS) in Shamshernagar, Moulvibazar, Wednesday (25-11-2020).

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salute as the Chief Guest. Later, he distributed trophies among the outstanding recruits. In his speech the Chief of Air Staff advised the recruits to develop themselves as worthy airmen of Bangladesh Air Force through honesty, integrity and sincerity. He hoped that they would make effective contribution in safeguarding the airspace of Bangladesh by displaying true patriotism.

A total of 752 recruits have passed out through this parade. It may be mentioned that 64 female recruits have been passed out through this parade for the first time in the history of Bangladesh Air Force. AC-2 Sheikh Didarul Islam and AC-2 Sarwar Alom Shameem were adjudged the best recruits in Academics and General Service Training respectively. AC-2 Emad Uddin Mozumder was adjudged the best recruit for all round performance. Earlier today, Chief of Air Staff was ushered to the parade ground by Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam, BSP, nswc, afwc, psc and Officer Commanding of Recruits’ Training School Group Captain Abu Zahid Mohsin, afwc, psc.

Among others, senior officers of Bangladesh Air Force, civil and military dignitaries of the local area were also present in the ceremony.
