Dhaka, 24 September 2023: The three-day-long 2nd international conference on ‘Information and Communication Technology for Sustainable Development’ (ICICT4SD) organized by Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has successfully been concluded on 23 September 2023. In the closing ceremony, the Chief Patron of this conference Vice Chancellor of BUP Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD awarded certificates to three outstanding research papers, three exceptional presentations and best logo design. BUP military and civil high officials, faculty members, students along with invited guests from home and abroad were also present.
Mentionable that Department of Information and Communication Engineering of BUP had organized this international conference with the theme ‘Shaping a sustainable future through advancement in information and communication technology’. In the conference, numerous key note speakers from home and abroad delivered their topics while about hundred papers, out of 287 received from 15 different countries, were presented. An industry exhibition was also organized at BUP campus in this regard.
