Dhaka, 04 January:- Bangladesh Air Force is on the verge of replacing its contingent at United Nations Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc as a proud peacekeeper of United Nations, gave directives to the new contingent members prior to the deployment in Mali at Air Headquarters, Dhaka cantonment, Tejgaon on 4th January 2023, Wednesday.
While addressing, Chief of Air Staff advised them to discharge their duties with discipline, honesty, professionalism and sincerity to bring good reputation for Bangladesh Air Force as well as for the country. He advised them to brighten of the country’s image by performing duty cordially through respect, compassion and care for all irrespective of religion in abroad.
Moreover, he urged everyone to set an unprecendented example in abroad by following various regulations of United Nations. Thereafter, he participated in a special munajat arranged for success contingents.
Among others, Principal Staff Officers, Air Officers of Dhaka area, senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters and Bases were present in the occasion. Mentionable that, 110 members of 01 contingent (Airfield Services and Management Unit) are proceeding to Mali where Bangladesh Air Force deployed necessary airfield and ground support equipments.
