Dhaka, 28 September: – Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc visited Headquarters of US Pacific Air Force at Joint Air Force Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, USA.
On his arrival he was presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent. He inspected the guard and took salute.
Chief of Air Staff Called on General Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, Commander of US Pacific Air Forces and exchanged views on bilateral issues. Besides, Air Chief also exchanged views on professional matters with the Air Chiefs of different countries participated in ÒPacific Air Chiefs Symposium (PACS)Ó held in USA.
Mentionable that, Chief of Air Staff is now in USA on an official tour. It is expected that the visit of Chief of Air Staff will play an important role for strengthening the existing friendly relationship between Armed Forces of two countries as well as with the Air Forces of other participating countries which will lead to take steps for development of Bangladesh Air Force.
