Dhaka, August 06:- Chairman of Moulvibazar Zilla Parishad Md. Azizur Rahman, who is infected with coronavirus, was emergency transferred from Moulvibazar to Dhaka on Thursday (06-08-2020) by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.
Bangladesh Air Force has always been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power to protect coronavirus and continuing various activities to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs in any national crisis. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission. Coronavirus infected patient Md. Azizur Rahman, Chairman of Moulvibazar Zilla Parishad, was emergency flown from Moulvibazar to Dhaka on Wednesday night by BAF MI-171SH helicopter with night vision technology. Later, he was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, Dhaka for better treatment.
