Dhaka, August 24:- Parliament Member of Rajshahi-5 and Member of Standing Committee on Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Professor Dr. Md Mansur Rahman (MP), who is infected with coronavirus, was emergency transferred from Rajshahi to Dhaka on Monday (24-08-2020) by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.
Bangladesh Air Force has always been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power to protect coronavirus and continuing various activities to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs in a professional manner. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission. Coronavirus infected patient Professor Dr. Md Mansur Rahman, Parliament Member of Rajshahi-5 and Member of Standing Committee on Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, was emergency flown from Rajshahi to Dhaka by BAF MI-171SH helicopter. Later, he was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, Dhaka for better treatment.
