DHAKA, April 13: In compliance with the policies published by the Government, Bangladesh Air Force is conducting various activities under the direction of Honourable Prime Minister to prevent coronavirus. In line with this, by the initiative of the Bangladesh Air Force, essential healthcare aids including personal protective equipments (PPE) were transported from Dhaka to Khulna by a BAF Bell-212 helicopter and handed over to the Director of Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Besides, Bangladesh Air Force has been carrying out various activities to prevent coronavirus by disinfecting in various places of the country, disinfecting vehicles and conducting disinfection points at all the gates of Air Force Bases and Units. In addition, BAF is providing various precautionary directions including maintaining social distance, controlling public meetings in their own area and controlling additional public gathering at the mosques. Moreover, different Bases and Units of Bangladesh Air Force as well as Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA) are being distributing essential commodities and Sanitizer items among the members of low income families near the BAF Bases and its surrounding areas as humanitarian assistance to deal with the situation arising out of the Corona virus.
