Dhaka, January 01:- Inauguration Ceremony of BAF Shaheen College Bogura was held on Wednesday 01 January 2020 at the college campus, Baropur, Bogura. Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BPP, OSP, ndu, psc graced the occasion as Chief Guest and unveiled the plaque of the newly constructed building, distributed books among the students and inaugurated academic activities of the institute.
While addressing, Chief of Air Staff advised the students to prepare themselves as good citizens of the country utilizing the modern facilities of the newly constructed educational institute. Besides, he instructed all concerned to take necessary steps with utmost sincerity and dedication for converting this institute as an ideal college. He urged local people to cooperate for overall development of the institute.
Among others, senior military and civil officers, local dignitaries, teachers, staffs and students of the college were present. On arrival, Chief of Air Staff was cordially received by Chairman Governing Body, Project Director and Principal of the college.
Infrastructure of the college was constructed under Annual Development Programme of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Total 1900 students of classes-KG to XII will get opportunity to receive quality education with modern facilities from the college. It is expected that this newly established institute will be able to provide significant contribution in eliminating illiteracy, poverty alleviation, socio-economic development as a whole sustainable development of the country.
