Dhaka, 16 March:- The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Volleyball Competition-2023 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Volleyball ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu, Dhaka on 16 March 2023, Thursday.
Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman by 3-2 sets in the said competition. Corporal Shimul of Bangladesh Air Force Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman team was adjudged as the best player. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans) Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bangabandhu Air Vice Marshal M A Awal Hossain , BBP, OSP, GUP, ndc, awc, psc inaugurated the competition on 12 March 2023. Mentionable that 07 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 05 day long competition.
