Dhaka, 27 January:- The Inter-House Annual Sports competition (2024-2025)of BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC) was held at sports ground of BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC) on 26 and 27 January 2025. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar and Chairman, Governing body of Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC) Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Khair Ul Afsar, GUP, ndc, psc graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest on 27 January 2025. He congratulated the winners of different athletic events and distributed prizes amongst them.
This year Mercury House became Champion with 10 Gold, 06 Silver & 08 Bronze while Venus House became Runner-up with 09 Gold, 08 Silver and 11 Bronze. Nafiur Rahman Shopno from Mercury House with 02 Gold and 01 Bronze medals was adjudged as the best athlete of the year.
Senior BAF officers, teachers, parents and students were also present in the ceremony.
