Dhaka, 20 October:- The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter Services Football Competition-2022 was held at football ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Dhaka on 20 October 2022, Thursday. Mentionable that the tournament was held from 16-20 October under the overall management of Bangladesh Air Force.
Bangladesh Navy team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force team by 4-2 goals in tibreaker in the final match. The scheduled time of match was 1-1 draw. PO Shakhawat Hossen of Bangladesh Navy and LAC Raqibul Islam of Bangladesh Air force team was adjudged as the best player jointly in the competition.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans) Air Vice Marshal AHM Fazlul Haque witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Among others, Senior officers from three services and other members were present on the occasion. Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force team participated in this competition.
