Dhaka,10 November 2022: Civil Engineering Department of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) celebrated the CE-FEST named as “CENERTIA 22” held today, Thursday (10-11-2022) at Mirpur Cantonment.
Commandant MIST, Major General Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman, BSP, ndc, aowc, psc, te graced the occasion as chief guest. The program started with a technical seminar titled “Design and Construction Challenges of Padma Multipurpose Bridge” where renowned Professor Dr Shamim Z Bosunia, PEng delivered key-note speech and shared his invaluable experiences of the megaproject with the future Civil engineering graduates of MIST.
In different competitions such as Truss Challenge, CAD competition, Poster Presentation, Project Showcasing and Mechanics Olympiad, hundreds of teams from MIST and other universities participated with huge zeal and enthusiasm. The day-long events ended with a colorful cultural program.
