Dhaka, 10 December: – Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc returned home from USA on 09 December 2019 after an official visit.
During visit, Chief of Air Staff took part in a series of panel discussions of the Symposium. The main theme of this year’s symposium was “A Collaborative Approach to Regional Security”. Panel discussions were arranged in the symposium on Regional Security, Domain Awarness, Multi-Domain Operation, Interoperability and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief. Among the five subjects, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force gave a speech on Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief.
Besides, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force made call on Air Chiefs of Sri Lanka, India, Brunei, France and Indonesia. He also exchanged views on different issues of bilateral interest during call on. Discussion on regional security threats and possible ways of solution was made through the participation in the symposium which is important for present situation.
It is expected that this visit of Chief of Air Staff will play an important role for strengthening the existing relationship among the Air Forces of participating countries as well as enhancing friendly relationship between Air Forces of Bangladesh and USA. Mentionable that Chief of Air Staff of Bangadesh Air Force left Dhaka for USA on 02 December 2019 on an official visit at the invitation of Commander, US Pacific Air Force.
