Jashore, 24 October: The certificate award ceremony of No 05 and 06 Basic Jet & Fighter Conversion Course, Basic Helicopter Conversion Course and Basic Transport Conversion Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at BAF Base Bir Sreshto Matiur Rahman, Jashore on Thrusday (24-10-2019).
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and awarded certificates amongst the graduating officers. A total of 29 trainee officers were awarded with certificates.
Among them, 05 graduating officers- Flight Lieutenant Dhrubo Sarkar, GD(P), Flight Lieutenant Md Anisuzzaman, GD(P), Flight Lieutenant S M Mohaiminul Islam, GD(P), Flight Lieutenant Sabiq-N-Ahmed, GD(P) and Flying Officer Ahmad Musa, GD(P) achieved Osmani Gold Medals for best performance in academic training.
Addressing to the graduating officers, the Chief of Air Staff said that the skill and professionalism that they have gained through the training in this course will act as the foundation stone of their future career in operational squadrons. Senior BAF Officers from Air Headquarters and BAF Base Bir Sreshto Matiur Rahman were present during the certificate award ceremony.
