Dhaka, January 9: A five day Faculty Development Programme organised by ICT Directorate of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) concluded at the MIST auditorium at Mirpur Cantonment in the city today, Thursday ( 9-1-2020).
On the concluding day Cabinet Secretary Mr. Khandker Anwarul Islam delivered his motivational speech on National Integrity Strategy (NIS) for the teachers and students of MIST.
Other resource persons of programme were Journalist Anisul Haque, Dr Aynun Nishat, Brigadier General Wahidul Islam, Colonel Siddharth Malik, Colonel Saif, Lt Colonel Nazrul Islam, Dr, Jahid, Brigadier General Nazrul Islam, Lt Colonel Omar Faruk, Colonel Humayn Kabir, Dr Jainul Abedin, Colonel Habibul Huq and Brigadier General Pavel Akram.
All these training programme gave new teachers the greatest chance of success as well as sustain veteran teachers as they meet new challenges in education. When this training does not happen, there is a risk that teachers may leave the profession early. The other concern is that when training is insufficient, students will suffer.
Among others, Major General Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman, ndc, aowc, psc, te and civil and military officers were present on the occasion.
